“Music Production and Engineering” at the University of New Orleans
Provides a basic understanding of the art and science of audio recording and an introduction to the state-of-the art Digidesign Pro Tools TDM recording system.

“Music Composition Utilizing the Computer” at Dillard University
Will introduce young people to the most widely used notation software (finale) and MIDI technology.

| July 23-27 |
Swing Dance Workshop at Jazz Camp
Norma Miller and Mikki Davidson will provide instructions and demonstrations in swing dancing. Norma is widely known as the “Queen of Swing” specializing in the Lindy Hop and dances of the Basie and Ellington era. The Camp’s big band will perform the music that the dance students will dance to.
